A 10-Minute Wind-Down After Gardening

Gardening has a lovely way of stretching a quick task into an afternoon: one pot becomes three, a little pruning becomes a fresh start. When you come indoors, give the transition the same intention.

A simple after-gardening ritual

Put the tools away, wash your hands, and make a glass of water or tea. Then take five quiet minutes before moving to the next thing.

  1. Clear the surface. Choose a stable, flat place where you can lie back comfortably. Keep your phone out of reach.
  2. Settle in gently. With your knees bent, place LOFTE beneath the curve of your neck—not directly under your head. Begin with its broader, gentler side and make small adjustments until it feels supportive.
  3. Keep it short and awake. Start with up to five minutes of quiet rest. If that feels comfortable over time, build gradually toward ten minutes.
  4. Return slowly. Roll to your side before sitting up. Take a moment to notice the room, then carry on with the evening.

Make the pause easy to repeat

Leave a folded throw nearby, set out a favourite mug, or open a window for a little fresh air. The point is not to add another task to the day; it is to create a small, repeatable cue that gardening is finished and the evening can begin.

A few thoughtful reminders

LOFTE is designed for short, awake relaxation on a stable surface. Follow the product instructions, use the gentler orientation first, and stop if the position does not feel comfortable. This is a comfort ritual, not something to use while driving, sleeping, or doing chores.

Whether your hands are still smelling faintly of rosemary or you only repotted one plant, five unhurried minutes can be a calm way to close the day.
